Class FAQ's & Policies

Here are some common questions & answers for our Lil' Rockers Classes

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns

Does my child need to provide their own guitar?

Yes, students need to provide their own guitars.  Rental options are available.  Please refer to our blog on picking out the correct sized guitar by clicking here

Are there any additional supplies my child needs to bring to class?

We recommend our students bring some guitar picks to class.  Some of our favorites are Snarling Dog .88 or .76 guage or Dunlop Mediums.  Some students also enjoy having a guitar strap, but is not required.  These items can be found at local guitar stores including Flesher Hinton Music Store, Denver Folklore Center, or Guitar Center.

What are your refund, credit and transfer policies for group classes?

Students may drop or transfer to another class before the 3rd class starts.  Partial pro-rated credits are given for the dropped classes. If the 3rd class has started, there are no credits or refunds available.  If a class does not meet minimum enrollment, the class will be cancelled 24 hours prior to that class starting.  All students will be notified and given an automatic credit towards their Lil' Rockers account.  Credits are good for 1 year from date of issue.  Refunds are available upon request.

What is your snow-day policy?

Since most of our classes are held within Denver Public Schools, we adhere to their snow-day policy.  If a class occurs on the day of a snow-day, we do not offer a refund on that particular class.  If more than one snow-day occurs within a given course, we will provide a credit.

Will there be a concert or performance at the end of the class?

Yes.  Many of our instructors have an end-0f-class concert at local kid-friendly venues.

These venues include:  Local 46, Goosetown Tavern, Dazzle Jazz Club, and NY Pizza Pub.
